PUTNAM COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION:

• Comprised of fifteen residents appointed by the County Commission.
  

• Hears: appeals of administrative decisions made by the staff of the Office of Planning & Infrastructure; requests for variances from the subdivision regulations; requests for preliminary plat approval of major subdivisions; requests for rezonings and text amendments to the zoning ordinance; and, requests for temporary permits which are governed by the zoning ordinance.
  

• Meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month.  In November the meeting is held on the third Tuesday, if necessary, due to Thanksgiving week.  No meeting is held in December.
