THE PUTNAM COUNTY BOARD of ZONING APPEALS:

  • Comprised of five residents appointed by the County Commission.

  • Hears appeals of administrative decisions made by the Director of the Office of Planning & Infrastructure and requests for variances and special permits from the zoning ordinance.

  • Meets on the second Thursday of each month, if necessary.  If the meeting cannot be held on the second Thursday for any reason (e.i. holiday) then it will be scheduled for the third Thursday.
